The adoption of the Sustainable Development
Goals (SDGs) was a big achievement and a clear commitment of the world
leaders to work together for a new approach to developing our planet. Reaching
these ambitious goals will be the challenge of our generation and we need a
new approach to education, one that prepares all learners to act for
sustainable development.
In the last years, a coalition of education and development actors have successfully advocated for the target 4.7 to be integrated in the SDGs. But how to start the actual work now? How do we put this in practice? To answer this question, we have started the creation of the "Bridge 47 network", a network aiming to gather all kinds of actors and educations working on reaching the target 4.7. Thanks to this network, the stakeholders will have a space for mutual support and peer-learning so that together we can change education and the world. To get all the info you need to start the implementation of the SDGs in your country/ organisation, we invite you to join our next webinar, first activity of the Bridge47 Network, on December 14th from 11.00 am to 12.00
(Brussels time).
During this discussion, international experts from:
will share information and engage in a discussion with you about your needs, vision and wishes. The video will be broadcast directly from our website here and available on YouTube afterwards.
